The intuitive poetry collection Aurora is the poetic debut of Ines Amal, in which she explores, through an interplay of words and images, the power revealed in the depths of love. Through complex layers of language, she opens different dimensions of the inner world, where feelings, memories and intuitions flow into one another, revealing its hidden nuances.
Aurora is not a linear book, but a mystical experience. Personal and confessional, it speaks of love as a fundamental force that transforms, heals and reveals. The poems do not offer explanations, but open a space for feeling, where each line becomes a reflection of something that already exists within us. For a moment, it stills the reader, anchors them in the present and invites them to listen, and to recognise something of themselves within the words.
The book is divided into five chapters, each accompanied by a central work of visual art: Forms of Reflection, Forms of Intoxication, Forms of Transparency, Forms of Magic and Forms of Radiance. Each evokes its own atmosphere, where word meets image. The cover features the author’s self-portrait, titled The Image of Her Image, introducing the book into a space where the outward gaze intertwines with the gaze turned inward.
Word and image are two sides of the same creative breath. In Aurora, poetry and visual art do not exist separately, but complement, reflect and shape one another, creating a space in which the reader can momentarily set aside the everyday world and enter a more intuitive, sensual and inward experience.
Aurora is intended for lovers of contemporary poetry who seek more than beauty in words. It is for those drawn to poetry as a space for feeling, reflection and inner exploration, where meaning does not always reveal itself immediately, but gradually takes shape through reading, sensation and personal experience.

Aurora, a collection of intuitive poetry, is Ines Amal's poetic debut, in which she uses words and images to tell of the power hidden in the depths of love, from which she brings to light expanded aspects of herself through a complex interweaving of words.
Ines wrote the texts for herself and she pays tribute to herself. She shares her work with others in order to reveal and enhance that part of the unique beauty that lies within each of us.
In addition to the Slovenian language, Aurora is also published in the English language. Which was proofread by Dr. Luka Ličar.
POETRY ART
Aurora is not only a book of intuitive poetry but also contains a series of artworks, which were painted in parallel with the writing of the texts.
The artworks tell the story of Ines's uncompromising commitment to herself. From this dedication, she presents the texts in the book in colorful compositions whose expressive character is reminiscent of the northern lights, the Aurora. The drawn lines are placed in this abstract environment in a way that they blend in but still take center stage. In this way, a composition is created in the paintings that generate a depth of its very own dimension.
