STONES OF LIGHT – My Crystal Collection
Crystals are not merely geological phenomena or beautiful objects to me. They are living, silent beings, full of history, wisdom, and a sentient presence. Within them lies an order that does not change with time, like a quiet melody of the universe that I can feel when I fully calm my breath in their presence.
Each stone carries its own tone, its own story, its own touch of divine nature.
Stones awaken something primal within me. I believe they come to me when I am ready to receive their essence. Cold, warm, sharp, or soft, each speaks to me differently, and each offers its message in its own unique way. When my body recognizes their imprint, I attune myself to their frequency. And when I surrender to the stone that calls me, it fills me with beauty, infusing me with a sense of tenderness, quiet acceptance, and purifying presence.
When humans were still deeply connected to nature, they did not admire crystals solely for their beauty. Our ancestors used stones for healing, protection, and the expansion of consciousness. Today, more than ever, we are rediscovering their deeper nature. It is time to unite ancient intuition with a new, awakened understanding.
As a jewelry designer, I find stones to be a unique source of inspiration. When I create, I am not guided solely by form, but above all by the energy the piece will carry. To me, jewelry is not just an accessory, it is a reminder, a silent companion, a protector, and a bearer of intention.
Even in the art of gemology, crystals are not valuable only because of their rarity or brilliance. A diamond, for instance, symbolizes multidimensional consciousness to me. Its radiance stems from a complex internal structure, not arranged only horizontally but also interwoven vertically, which means it connects with higher planes of being. For this reason, the diamond represents not only strength and purity, but it reminds me how we, too, can become strong and stable when we are connected to ourselves, to our soul and to the universe.
I keep all kinds of stones on my altar. There they rest in silence, arranged intuitively yet meaningfully, as if they themselves know where they belong. Sometimes I cleanse them with water or the smoke of sacred wood, other times I simply observe them, connect with them, and converse with them. This altar is not merely a place of beauty, it is a space of presence.
A special place on my altar belongs to stones I receive as gifts. Those that come from specific places carry within them a unique imprint. They bear the trace of the landscape in which they were formed or found, and at the same time, they radiate the energy of the person who gave them to me with a thought of care.
Such a stone is more than an object to me, it is an embodied memory, an imprint of a moment, and a bond that transcends time and space.
When I place such a stone on my altar, it anchors a piece of the world I may have never physically visited, but can deeply feel. Every time I look at it or hold it in my hand, its presence reminds me of how we are all connected, not only to one another, but also to landscapes, to the elements of nature and to the invisible threads that weave our shared story.
When I gaze into a crystal, I gaze within. In its perfect geometry, I recognize the flow that connects me with all that is.
With Love, Ines
