Love takes hold of me, beauty holds me in the moment
Sometimes, even the briefest glance into the distance, toward the horizon, or into the face of someone whose eyes meet mine can move something within me, almost imperceptibly. I sense the world and its subtle energies before I can even begin to understand them. I feel first, and only then do I try to translate what has stirred within me into thought, word, or image. Some moments touch me with such intensity that, at first, words are unable to contain them. They remain within me as a trace, as a feeling that slowly settles and continues to live long after the moment itself has passed.
I am especially deeply moved by the human being, not so much through what is spoken, but through what takes place beneath the words. A gaze, the slightest expression on a face, the way someone lingers beside me, and above all that particular silence between two people can say more than a long conversation ever could. I often sense the person beside me before they speak. I sense their presence, their tension, and the softness of the space that arises between us. When there is no longer a need for explanation and words fall silent for a moment, an encounter can touch something deeper. It reaches a space where what matters is no longer what was said, but what truly came into being between us in that moment. It is within this unspoken space that a particular, sensual closeness is born, so subtle and real that words often cannot contain it, yet it floods my entire being.
It is this unspoken closeness that opens me from within and allows me to feel more deeply into my desires, my longings, and that which reaches beyond this physical form of mine. When I listen to my inner voice and surrender to beauty and love in all their passion, tenderness, connection, and depth, I continually nurture myself through them. Love leads me inward, while beauty holds me in the moment and opens me to feeling. And so I return to my centre, to the silence where I vibrate with the melody of a heart that still burns within me.
That is why silence is so precious to me. There, alone with my breath, I hear all that is so easily lost in the noise. There, I simply surrender to feeling, for words are often only an approximation of truth, while feeling can perceive its quieter, more delicate layers. In that openness, something that was at first only a feeling can slowly mature and find its meaning.
Some things simply need time to slowly unfold from feeling into understanding.
And it is precisely this time that allows what has moved me to slowly mature within me. What I have seen, felt, and experienced begins to connect. Individual impressions and inner perceptions flow into one another until something tangible begins to emerge from the unseen. It may take the form of a thought, a word, an image, or a stroke of colour. Something that was initially only a feeling, merely an intuition, finds its own space, its own form, and begins to breathe with a life of its own. My artistic expression therefore does not begin only in the moment when something starts to take shape, but much earlier. Its essence lies in connection, openness, and the ability to remain with whatever moves me for long enough that something clear can slowly emerge from what was once indistinct.
When an inner experience finds its form, my expression becomes more than simply a way of conveying visions. It becomes a way of offering the world what has deeply moved me, and of allowing the unseen to become perceptible. I do not seek inspiration. It is a natural consequence of my openness to life and to its unseen layers.
It is in this movement between the inner and the outer that my expression touches something deeper. Through it, I pass on the codes of consciousness that I perceive within myself, in other people, in nature, and in the space between us, giving them the possibility to express themselves in their full magnitude. My mission is to open a space for feeling, recognition, and contact with what remains hidden beneath the surface, and through my expression to allow the unseen to become alive and perceptible.
I share my expression so that what first comes alive within me can be passed on and come alive beyond me as well.
With Love, Ines
